We will do well against Aussies: Malik

Karachi, March 26 (IANS) Former Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik is confident that he and team-mates will do well against Australia in a one-day series starting in Abu Dhabi April 22.
Malik, who was removed as Pakistan captain after leading them to two embarrassing one-day defeats against Sri Lanka at home in January, said the morale in the Pakistan camp was high and the team would go all out for victory against the Aussies.

The two sides will play five one-day internationals and a Twenty20 game.

Speaking on his personal form, Malik said he was feeling more confident now after regaining rhythm in his bowling.

Malik bowled extensively in the Test series against Sri Lanka at home earlier this season and is now eyeing to play against Australia as an all-rounder rather than a specialist batsman.

Malik, 26, had been facing a lot of criticism over his inability to perform well as an all-rounder after failing to deliver as an off-spinner.
