Was Dis driver a pimp on the side?February 6th, 2008 - 4:39 pm ICT by admin
London, Feb 6 (ANI): The man who drove Princess Diana and her lover Dodi Al Fayed to death had a side business of arranging hookers for affluent clients, the inquest into their deaths has heard.
The jury was told that the extra money Paul secretly earned was concealed in his 15 bank accounts.
Paul, who died along with Diana and Dodi in the Paris crash in Aug 1997, provided personal shopping and other services for multi-millionaire guests, including Arab princes, as the security boss at The Ritz Hotel in Paris.
The clients gave him backhanders of about 1,000 pounds, and a series of 4,000 pounds cash deposits remains inexplicable.
It was also revealed that Paul banked almost 44,000 pounds in 11 payments in the ten months before he died in the crash.
Dodis father Mohamed Al Fayed believes that Paul was working for British secret services in a plot to murder the couple.
Fayeds lawyer Michael Mansfield QC suggested that the amounts were far in excess of what Paul could make in tips.
Investigating accountant Paul Laffan, who found Paul had 170,000 pounds set aside, replied: I follow your point. (ANI)
