visionJan 18, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It is going to get a lot easier to fly in and out of Florida Panhandle. Vision Airlines recently began to offer flights from Northwest Florida Regional Airport. The airlines has started to plan a major expansion. Vision Airlines was once considered to be catering to celebrities and the heads of state and corporations. However, this airline is now planning to unveil plans to add seventeen more cities to its route map. The airlines is supposed to expand into a number of regional Florida airports for offering more options to Sunshine State vacationers.

Now, travelers would have a low-cost option for flying to Florida’s cherished vacation spots. The carrier would offer the area’s only nonstop flights to Florida Panhandle. The service would also have the only direct flights to Gulfport-Biloxi, in Mississippi. The one way price of the tickets being sold by Vision Airlines is as low as $49 for the first five days. Regular fares from St. Petersburg-Clearwater is supposed to start at $89 for one way to Gulfport and $79 for Destin. The airline’s focus is Destin, which is a long popular beach spot near Fort Walton Beach. This is an ideal place for summer vacationers coming to the place from Southeast states. The place gets filled up with almost 8 million visitors during the vacations.

David Meers, the Chief Operating Officer of the Vision Airlines said that the main reason behind doing this was the fact that most of the airlines make small-city travelers fly on tiny jets at ridiculously high prices. Vision Airlines would fly Boeing 737s, which accommodate about 140 passengers, and Dornier 328 turboprop which holds 30 passengers, to and from the new markets.
