Sep 2, (THAINDIAN NEWS) This week as the trial for the gruesome alleged attempt to murder carried out by “40-Year-Old Virgin” actor Shelley Malil against Kendra Beebe began, the witness recalled the horror story of that fatal day two years ago when the latter was stabbed 23 times by the actor at her San Diego County home. The victim, Kendra Beebe who testified at the court on Tuesday and took the witness stand once again on Wednesday to face the defense attorney, cried as she recalled the incident and her fear as Shelley Malil walked at her place. The trial is being held at a Vista court.

Kendra Beebe who was into an on-and-off relationship with Shelley Malil said to media sources that she felt an primal, instinctual animal fear when he came to her place in San Diego County. She said that Shelley Malil came straight towards her with one hand at his back and hugged her only to stab thrice. On Wednesday at the witness stand, Kendra Beebe was pushed hard by the defense attorney Matthew Roberts about the use of weapon against his client Shelley Malil. However, the exasperated lady maintained that after his initial stabbing, Shelley Malil had approached her with an even bigger knife. Kendra Beebe maintained that she had tried to stop her ex-boyfriend from stabbing her and after his initial attack, she had tried to keep the hoe away from him, but he only came up with a bigger knife to stab her 20 times more.

The Shelley Malil who has been charged in Aug 10, 2008 with premeditated attempted murder attack on Kendra Beebe, has pleaded not guilty of the charges. The defense attorney had maintained that Shelley Malil was himself attacked at the house and it is only to save himself that he carried out the attack.
