US woman steals credit card for bigger boob job, jailed
December 7th, 2010 - 5:17 pm ICT by ANIMelbourne, Dec 07 (ANI): A 30-year-old Florida woman has been sentenced for stealing identity to get credit card so that she could afford bigger breast implants and liposuction on her arms.
Shatarka Nuby of Tamarac, used a South Florida woman’s name to go on a 20, 000 dollars spending splurge on new furniture for her apartment, and cosmetic surgery at Pinnella Cosmetic Surgery in Fort Lauderdale, the Miami Herald reported.
Nuby argued she needed the new implants because her old ones were defective, reports the Daily Telegraph.
She pleaded guilty in August to aggravated identity theft and a credit card fraud charge.
As per the court records, the identity was stolen from a college application taken from a mailbox in Tamarac. (ANI)
