New York, Mar 23 (ANI): A math instructor in a Seattle suburb has been accused of having a sexual relationship with a teenage boy from her class.

Barbara Jeanne Anderson, 37, was busted after the 17-year-old student bragged he was “getting laid by a teacher” to his uncle, who in turn informed the boy’s mother.

The mother then discovered 800 telltale text messages between her boy and the teacher.

Anderson allegedly wrote 100 texts during one 24-hour period between January 15 and February 21, investigators said.

“Obviously the mom thought that was suspicious and certainly out of line,” the New York Daily News quoted Sgt. John Urquhart with the King County Sheriff’s Office as telling KIRO Radio.

A spokesman for the Kent school district confirmed that Anderson was yanked from the classroom and placed on administrative leave while police investigate.

Although Anderson was booked into the county jail for sexual misconduct with a minor, she was later released and has not yet been formally charged.

The Kentlake High School student told cops in court papers that they had sex in Anderson’s car one night and that she drove him to a pot dealer another time. (ANI)
