New York, Feb 9 (ANI): President Barack Obama’s fat-filled Super Bowl party was approved by the U.S. Surgeon General at an event celebrating the White House’s war on childhood obesity.
The White House had served bratwurst, kielbasa, cheeseburgers, deep-dish pizza, Buffalo wings and beer to Obama’s 100 guests gathered for the Steelers-Packers showdown.
“The President is allowed to do it as a one-time thing. We say everything in moderation,” the New York Daily News quoted Surgeon General Regina Benjamin as saying.
“The President is also very active with basketball and exercise, so it’s all right,” she stated.
Benjamin was in New York to celebrate the one-year anniversary of First Lady Michelle Obama’s ‘Let’s Move’ initiative to fight childhood obesity. (ANI)
