US state debuts first sex toy drive-thru window
November 11th, 2010 - 2:36 pm ICT by ANINew York, Nov 11 (ANI): A sex shop in Alabama has come up with a novel way of selling its sex toys - through a drive-up window.
Sherri Williams, the owner of the shop says her shop is the first adult store in the nation to offer car service and it’s all a part of her crusade to take the stigma away from sex shops.
“The real essence of what I’m trying to get across is adult stores don’t have to be hidden in back alleys,” the New York Daily News quoted Williams as telling the Huntsville Times.
“Obviously we wouldn’t be doing as well as we are if no one enjoyed shopping here,” she stated
The Huntsville store, named Pleasures, has three drive-thru lanes, and the tagline “one stop romance shop”, and it had previously housed a bank.
Patrons can order from a menu of toys, lubricants and stimulants and receive their goods concealed in a plain, brown paper bag at the window. (ANI)
