US, NATO countries are Pakistan’s enemies, says Imran Khan
October 8th, 2010 - 7:01 pm ICT by ANIIslamabad, Oct 8 (ANI): Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has said that the US and other NATO countries are Pakistan’s enemies, and added that drone attacks were creating hatred against NATO forces, prompting arson attacks on trucks carrying food and ammunition supplies to Afghanistan.
According to The Dawn, Khan blamed the government for failing to halt the US drone attacks on Pakistan and added that the government was taking dictation from America and eventually lost its writ.
He further alleged that because of the poor policies of the government, the country was likely to facea severe economic crisis in near future.
He said the reluctance of other countries to give direct aid to Pakistan was ‘a slap in the face’ of the government, and claimed that the situation could only alter if the present leadership was changed.
Khan further asked for donations to help the flood-hit people overcome the bad phase of their lives. (ANI)
