US mother kills 4 kids before herself
May 16th, 2012 - 11:37 pm ICT by IANSWashington, May 16 (IANS) A woman in a US town shot dead her four children before turning the gun on herself. Three of the kids had escaped to a neighbourhood house, but she lured them back and killed them.
The injured youngsters had desperately dashed to a neighbour’s house to seek help after Tonya Thomas opened fire. But the 33-year-old emerged from their home and managed to lure the obedient kids back before shooting them dead, The Sun reported.
The children — Joel Johnson, 12, Jazlin Johnson, 13, Jaxs Johnson, 15, and 17-year-old Pebbles Johnson — were gunned down Tuesday in the small town of Port St. John in Florida city.
Thomas had sent a text message in the dead of night telling how she would like to be cremated with her children, a neighbour said.
