United States condemns terrorist attacks in Pakistan
December 29th, 2009 - 6:22 pm ICT by BNO News ( Leave a comment )ISLAMABAD (BNO NEWS) — The United States on Tuesday said it condemns the terrorist attacks during Muharram processions on Sunday and Monday in Muzaffarabad and Karachi.
The U.S. Embassy in Islamabad said in its condemnation that the attacks targeted innocent people. “We extend our condolences to the victims’ families and friends, and to the Pakistani people,” a brief statement said.
Dozens of people were killed in the attacks, which left scores of others injured.
