UAE’s cultural heritage showcased in Morocco
July 23rd, 2010 - 11:36 pm ICT by IANSAssilah (Morocco), July 23 (IANS/WAM) The cultural heritage and educational achievements of the UAE are being showcased at the Assilah Festival in Morocco July 10-27.
The exhibition is being held at the Culture Palace here.
Information on the restoration of Al Jahli Fort in Al Ain in the UAE, among others, was provided to the visitors. Sheikh Zayed built the fort in 1898. It is one of the great symbols of UAE’s cultural heritage.
The Abu Dhabi Authority of Culture and Heritage (ADACH) and the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Community Development and Masdar are representing the country at the Festival.
