UAE, US discuss bilateral ties
September 26th, 2011 - 12:24 am ICT by IANSAbu Dhabi, Sep 25 (IANS/WAM) Mariam Mohammed Khalfan Al Roumi, minister of social affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and US Ambassador to UAE Michael H. Corbin met here Sunday and discussed ways to boost bilateral relations.
Al Roumi emphasised the exchange of experiences in the field of rehabilitation and integration of people with disabilities.
The two sides agreed that a UAE team working in the disability sector will visit specialised centres in the US to observe the quality of services provided to disabled people.
