UAE to organise lecture on ‘Dialogue of Civilisations’
November 1st, 2009 - 11:24 pm ICT by IANS ( 1 comment )Abu Dhabi, Nov 1 (IANS) A lecture titled “Dialogue of Civilisations between yesterday and today” will be organised here Monday under the patronage of Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, president’s representative and chairman of the cultural and media centre.
The Counsellor for cooperation and cultural affairs at the French embassy here, Didier Gazagnadou, will deliver the lecture with particular reference to the Islamic Arab world, its development and Europe, a WAM news agency report said.
He will also discuss the importance of cultural dialogue and cooperation in building collaboration and strengthening friendship between people and nations, the report added.

dialogue of civilisations is an excellent topic and has bearing on political events of the day. There was mis reporting and propoganda by people in power to defame others. Example…library of Alexandria was destroyed in 300ad during roman wars but the blame was put on arabs.
in india Mir Jafar was blamed for death of britishers but a couple of centuries later british writers admitted it was all fabrication.
We must understand view point of others to avoid blood shed and senseless killings
