UAE to observe Prophet Mohammad’s birthday Feb 4
January 30th, 2012 - 11:41 pm ICT by IANSAbu Dhabi, Jan 30 (IANS/WAM) The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Monday issued a circular to all federal ministries and institutions to observe Feb 4 as Milad un Nabi, the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad.
The circular was issued by Humaid Mohamed Al Qattami, minister of education and chairman of the board of directors of the Federal Authority for Human Resources.
Meanwhile, Labour Minister Saqr Ghobash announced a public holiday for the private sector on the occasion.
