UAE strongly condemns Iran blasts
July 16th, 2010 - 10:59 pm ICT by IANSAbu Dhabi, July 16 (IANS/WAM) The UAE Friday strongly condemned the blasts outside a mosque in Iran’s southeastern Zahedan city that left at least 27 people dead and more than 200 injured.
The attack took place Thursday.
“The UAE condemns in the strongest terms this terrorist act and affirms its full solidarity and stand with Iran in its efforts to confront these criminal acts,” Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan said in a statement.
Sheikh Abdullah offered condolences to the relatives of the victims and wished speedy recovery to those wounded.
