UAE, Seychelles sign military cooperation pact
December 23rd, 2009 - 12:23 am ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Abu Dhabi, Dec 22 (IANS) The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Seychelles have signed an agreement for military cooperation, WAM news agency reported Tuesday.
The agreement was signed here Monday by UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Seychelles’ Minister of Environment Joel Morgan.
Sheikh Abdullah welcomed the visiting minister and praised the progressive ties of friendship and cooperation between the UAE and Seychelles.
The agreement provides for promotion and facilitation of military cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
