UAE seeks end to human rights violations in Palestine
March 23rd, 2011 - 1:39 am ICT by IANSGeneva, March 23 (IANS/WAM) The United Arab Emirates has called on the UN Human Rights Council to ensure that there are no human rights violations in Palestine.
UAE’s permanent representative to the UN in Geneva, Obaid Salem Al Za’abi, has called on the council to exhaust all means conferred upon it to secure Israel’s cooperation in the issue. He made the remarks at the 16th session of the Human Rights Council in Geneva.
