UAE receives military transport aircraft from Boeing
May 11th, 2011 - 11:38 pm ICT by IANSLong Beach (US), May 11 (IANS/WAM) Boeing has delivered the first of the six military transport aircraft ordered by the UAE, it was announced Wednesday.
With advanced capabilities, high reliability and mission-readiness, the C-17 Globemaster III airlifter will help expand the UAE’s ability to perform humanitarian and strategic-lift missions in the UAE and around the world.
Yousef Al Otaiba, the UAE ambassador to US, said: “The delivery of the C-17 underlines the UAE Armed Forces’ keenness to employ the most sophisticated technologies and their high capabilities.”
