UAE, Palestine discuss projects
July 14th, 2011 - 12:19 am ICT by IANSAbu Dhabi, July 13 (IANS/WAM) Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas met the non-resident ambassador of the United Arab Emirates in Ramallah Wednesday and discussed progress of several projects funded by the UAE.
Abdullah Nasser Sultan Al Amiri called on Abbas after making an assessment of the projects.
Abbas hailed UAE’s “brotherly stance” towards the Palestinian cause and the continuous efforts by the country to enable the Palestinian people to establish an independent state.
