UAE official addresses UNHRC on trafficking
June 25th, 2012 - 11:27 pm ICT by IANSGeneva, June 25 (IANS/WAM) The permanent representative of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva has said his country has made great efforts to address the issue of human trafficking.
Obaid Salem Al Zaabi delivered a speech before the council, where he also spoke about a training session at the Gulf regional level held in Abu Dhabi in December 2011, in which international experts, discussed at length the issue of human rights.
