UAE minister meets Karzai
June 23rd, 2011 - 11:28 pm ICT by IANSKabul, June 23 (IANS/WAM) Visiting UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan has met with Afghan President Hamid Karzai and discussed the political situation and various ongoing developmental works in the country.
Abdullah arrived in Kabul Wednesday along with his British counterpart William Hague.
The UAE leader stressed the need for concerted international efforts to support the developmental programmes in Afghanistan. He also met Foreign Minister Zalmai Rasul.
