UAE, Kazakhstan to increase cooperation in civil aviation, agriculture
June 7th, 2011 - 10:12 pm ICT by IANSAstana, June 7 (IANS/WAM) The United Arab Emirtaes and Kazakhstan will expand their cooperation in civil aviation and agriculture, UAE Minister for Economy Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri said Tuesday.
After meeting with a number of senior Kazakh officials in Astana, Al Mansouri said the talks focused on Emirates Airlines and Etihad Airways operating direct flights to a number of destinations in Kazakhstan.
The two sides also discussed the possibility of increasing wheat imports to the UAE and its re-export to a number of destinations in the region.
