UAE, Japan hold talks
January 29th, 2012 - 10:25 pm ICT by IANSDubai, Jan 29 (IANS/WAM) Top officials of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Japan held talks here Sunday.
Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, deputy ruler of Dubai and the UAE’s minister of finance, received Takashi Ashik, Japan’s Consul General.
The Japanese envoy was in Dubai to pay a farewell visit at the end of his tenure in the UAE.
He expressed appreciation for the support extended by the UAE during his stay in the country.
The meeting was also attended by a number of officials from both countries who discussed a host of other issues.
