UAE envoy visits Houston over UAE national’s death
August 19th, 2011 - 1:46 am ICT by IANSWashington, Aug 19 (IANS/WAM) UAE Ambassador to the US Yousef Al Otaiba visited Houston Thursday to discuss the death of UAE national Salem Al Mazroui.
During a meeting with Houston Mayor Annise Parker, Al Otaiba appreciated the swift action of Houston Police Department detectives in apprehending the suspects charged with murdering Al Mazroui.
The UAE envoy also urged a swift conclusion to the police investigation.
He also noted that the UAE embassy remains vigilant to ensure the safety and security of all UAE citizens in the US and will continue to monitor the situation in Houston closely.
