UAE committed to strengthen global counter-terrorism strategy
July 1st, 2012 - 1:24 am ICT by IANSNew York, June 30 (IANS/WAM) The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has reiterated its commitment to the implementation of all four pillars of the UN global counter-terrorism strategy.
It has called on the international community to step up efforts to strengthen the goals of the strategy to eradicate all forms of the scourge.
While the UAE was satisfied with the results achieved thus far in implementing the strategy at national and regional levels, through the UN, it was nevertheless concerned that efforts to put in action all four pillars of the framework remained insufficient,” said Ahmed Abdul Rehman Al-Jarman, permanent representative of the UAE to the UN, in a statement.
