UAE, Britain discuss Afghan aid
October 26th, 2011 - 12:34 am ICT by IANSAbu Dhabi, Oct 25 (IANS/WAM) The UAE and Britain Tuesday discussed arrangements for the upcoming conferences on Afghanistan in Istanbul and Bonn.
The discussions were held between Saeed Mohammed Al Shamsi, the UAE special envoy to Afghanistan and Pakistan, and Dominic Jermey, Britain’s ambassador to the UAE.
They also discussed delivery of Afghan aid. The Afghan conferences will be held in the next two months.
