UAE, Belgium discuss bilateral cooperation
January 9th, 2012 - 10:44 pm ICT by IANSAbu Dhabi, Jan 9 (IANS/WAM) The United Arab Emirates Monday discussed bilateral cooperation in the field of tourism and antiquities with Belgium.
A meeting in this regard was held between Mohammed Khamis Al Muhairi, director general of UAE National Council for Tourism and Antiquities and Anick Van Calster, Belgium’s ambassador to the UAE.
Al Muhairi, expressed Council’s keenness to cooperate with the Kingdom of Belgium in forming archaeological research teams in the country and the training of national cadres working in this field.
Calster said that her country was interested in developing tourism cooperation relations with the UAE along with exchanging programmes and experience in the field of archaeology and museums.
