UAE, Australia exchange extradition documents
August 10th, 2011 - 12:45 am ICT by IANSAbu Dhabi, Aug 9 (IANS/WAM) The UAE and Australia exchanged ratification documents for agreements on extradition and legal assistance in criminal matters.
The two agreements that were signed July 26, 2007, in Hobart City, Australia are effective after 30 days.
The documents were exchanged by the UAE’s assistant foreign minister for legal affairs, Abdul Raheem Al Awadhi and Australia’s ambassador to the UAE Doug Trappett at a ceremony in Abu Dhabi.
