UAE aid agency helps Palestinian school kids
January 21st, 2011 - 11:32 pm ICT by IANSAbu Dhabi, Jan 21 (IANS/WAM) The Red Crescent Authority (RCA), a humanitarian aid agency of the United Arab Emirates has distributed schoolbags and stationery in various schools of Palestine.More than 7,000 students of seven northern provinces in Palestine have benefited from the initiative which was carried out in cooperation with the Palestinian education ministry.
Lamis Al-Alami, the Palestinian Minister for Education, hailed the RCA for its sustained efforts to bolster the educational institutions and help them in nurturing future generations of Palestine.
