Two US women caught for hiding stolen goods in body fat
December 3rd, 2010 - 1:14 am ICT by IANSMelbourne, Dec 2 (IANS) Two US women allegedly used their body fat and breasts to hide $2,600 worth of stolen goods, it was reported here Thursday.
Ailene Brown, 28, and 37-year-old Shmeco Thomas, both from Oklahoma City, were arrested for shoplifting after authorities caught the women stuffing items under their stomach fat and breasts, the Herald Sun reported, citing local media reports.
“These two were actually concealing them in areas of their body where excess skin was, under their chest area and armpits,” an officer said.
Police said Brown also had a knife in her purse that she used to cut security tags in the store.
One of the suspects had allegedly managed to conceal a pair of leather boots in her bra, the report said.
