Two US teachers arrested over ‘having sex with teen students’
April 27th, 2011 - 5:32 pm ICT by ANILondon, April 27 (ANI): Two teachers, who worked in the same department at a US school, have been arrested after having sex with under-age students.
Bethyl Shepherd, 34, and Marie Fisher, 21, both from the Special Education Department at Reeds High School in Sparks, Nevada, were arrested within weeks of each other after officials found out about their affairs, reports the Daily Mail.
Shepherd is accused of having a threesome with two 17-year-old students in her car while Fisher is charged with having a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old boy after sending him explicit text messages.
Investigators claim Shepherd, who has been at the school since 2001, drove to a secluded spot on April 7th where she had sex with both 17-year-olds.
Shepherd was charged with two felony counts of sexual conduct between a teacher and a student. Her bail was set at 4,000 dollars.
Her arrest came a month after Fisher was arrested on charges of sleeping with a 15-year-old at the school.
She is alleged to have sent him a photo of her ‘half naked breast’ and later slept with him.
Fisher was booked into the Washoe County Jail on charges of sexual misconduct and seduction of a male student under 16 years old. Her bail was set at 7,000 dollars. (ANI)
