Two terror suspects arrested in New York
May 13th, 2011 - 3:04 am ICT by IANSNew York, May 13 (IANS) Police in New York have arrested two men suspected of plotting terror attacks in the city, said Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Xinhua reported.
The arrests were made after the two tried to purchase weapons from undercover agents, Bloomberg told a press conference Thursday.
The two - one a US citizen and the other a legal resident - were reportedly planning to blow up a synagogue in Manhattan, said Raymond Kelly, the city’s police commissioner.
