Islamabad, Aug 21 (IANS) Two youths, who were doing stunts on their motorcycle, were killed in Rawalpindi, police said.

The cousins had died while doing wheelies, in which the front wheel is lifted off the road.

Dawn said Sunday that both had been detained a few days back during a campaign against stunt driving. But, they were released after their parents intervened.

“Parents of the two cousins strongly condemned the police for taking them into custody,” an official said.

He added: “We were stunned when we heard that the two young men killed while doing wheelies were those we had captured…”
