Two policemen killed in Iraq bombings
March 9th, 2012 - 2:32 am ICT by IANSBaghdad, March 9 (IANS) At least two police officers have been killed and six people injured in separate bomb attacks in Iraq, Xinhua reported.
A roadside bomb struck a police vehicle in Taji, 20 km north of Baghdad, killing one police officer and wounding four passers-by, an interior ministry official said.
Another police officer was killed when a sticky bomb attached to his car detonated in Tuz-Khurmato, 220 km north of Baghdad, police said.
Meanwhile, in the eastern province of Diyala, two civilians were injured when a roadside bomb exploded near a government office in the provincial capital Baquba, 65 km from Baghdad, police said.
