Two killed in suicide attack on German convoy in Kabul
November 30th, 2008 - 7:10 pm ICT by IANS - Send to a friend:Kabul, Nov 30 (Xinhua) A suicide attack targeting a convoy of the German embassy killed two civilians and injured five others in the Afghan capital Sunday afternoon, officials said. Kabul police chief Ayub Salangi told reporters that the attack occurred at 2.45 p.m. (1015 GMT) when a suicide bomber blew himself up near the convoy passing by the Afghan parliament house.
“At least two people were killed and five injured, all civilians, in the attack,” Salangi said.
“No casualty of the German diplomatic staff has been reported,” he said.
