Two killed in Pakistan blast (Lead)
February 14th, 2010 - 4:08 pm ICT by IANSIslamabad, Feb 14 (IANS) Two people were killed and 12 injured Sunday when a powerful blast ripped through a crowded market in Pakistan’s southern Sindh province.
The blast occurred in a rickshaw at Central Chowk area, about 225 km from Karachi city, Geo news reported quoting police sources.
The blast shattered the windowpanes of closely located shops, buildings and vehicles.
Meanwhile, residents caught a suspect from the blast site and handed him over to police, witnesses said.
