Two killed, 11 injured in Iraq blasts
April 26th, 2012 - 10:07 pm ICT by IANSBaghdad, April 26 (IANS) Two people were killed and 11 others injured in two separate bomb blasts in the Iraqi capital Baghdad Thursday.
A booby-trapped car was detonated in Al-Hurriyah district in Baghdad in the afternoon, killing two people and wounding nine others, reported Xinhua citing an interior ministry source.
The powerful blast destroyed two nearby houses and caused damage to several surrounding buildings and cars.
In another incident, a roadside bomb went off near an Iraqi army patrol in Baghdad’s Sadr city, damaging a military vehicle and wounding two soldiers aboard, the source added.
