Two dead in shooting at US clinic
November 11th, 2009 - 7:22 am ICT (UTC +0700) by IANSWashington, Nov 11 (DPA) A gunman opened fire at a drug-testing clinic in the Pacific North-West state of Oregon, killing one woman before turning the gun on himself, according to a newspaper report.
The shooting occurred Tuesday in Tualatin, a suburb outside of Portland, near the Pacific coast.
Police said several other people were wounded, including one man airlifted to a Portland hospital for treatment. Another victim was treated at a local hospital, the Oregonian newspaper reported online.
The Legacy MetroLab-Tualatin clinic where the shooting occurred served private companies and the government, which sent clients there for alcohol and drug testing.
