Two blasts in Pakistan city
February 9th, 2011 - 1:37 pm ICT by IANSIslamabad, Feb 9 (IANS) Two low-intensity blasts targeted offices of law enforcement agencies in different areas of Gujaranwala city in Pakistan’s Punjab province early Wednesday, causing injuries to one person, Geo News reported.One of the blasts occurred outside the CIA Centre building, while the other explosion occurred near the office of the Superintendent of Police (SP) Special Branch.
Another bomb planted outside the CIA (Central Investigation Agency of police) building was defuse.
Minor damage was caused to the buildings. But there was no loss of life reported in the explosions, police sources said.
Heavy police contingents have cordoned off the blast sites.
