Truck-train collision injures 15 in US
October 5th, 2011 - 5:49 am ICT by IANSWashington, Oct 5 (IANS) At least 15 people were injured Tuesday when a truck collided with a train in the Houston city of US, Xinhua reported.
According to Metro officials, the accident occurred when the dump truck struck the train in downtown Houston and led to the derailment of a section of the train.
The train reportedly had over 100 passengers on board.
Thirteen passengers, the train operator and the truck driver suffered injuries.
