‘Tough’ Hillary a true patriot doing right things: Rice
October 14th, 2010 - 7:03 pm ICT by ANIWashington, Oct 14 (ANI): Praising the actions of her successor, Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has said that Hillary Clinton is “very tough” and “doing a lot of the right things.”
Rice, who has mostly shied away from the public sphere since the end of George W. Bush’s presidency, said she thinks Clinton is doing a good job, Politico reports.
“Hillary Clinton is someone I’ve known for a long, long time. She’s a patriot. I think she’s doing a lot of the right things. She’s very tough. … and she’s got the right instincts. I think she’s doing a fine job. I really do,” Rice told Fox News’s Bill O’Reilly.
Rice did express concerns about Iran getting closer to being able to produce a nuclear weapon and North Korea possibly destabilizing during a transfer of power.
“Iran is closer to a nuclear weapon, that’s more dangerous,” she said. “North Korea seems somewhat unstable with nuclear capability. That makes the world more dangerous.” (ANI)
