Top US official visits UAE
May 21st, 2012 - 11:11 pm ICT by IANSAbu Dhabi, May 21 (IANS/WAM) Rand Beers, US undersecretary of homeland security for the National Protection and Programs Directorate, is currently on a visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to address bilateral issues.
On Monday, Beers met UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi.
At a meeting held at the interior ministry headquarters, the two officials discussed a number of issues of common concern and ways to strengthen relations between the two countries.
