Too colourful a past to be politician, says CostnerAugust 1st, 2008 - 2:37 pm ICT by IANS
London, Aug 1 (IANS) Oscar winning Kevin Costner says he would have loved to join politics but his colourful past doesn’t allow him to do so. In his new movie “Swing Vote”, Costner plays a man who gets to decide the next US president. He admits that if his life was more wholesome he would have preferred being in politics to Hollywood.
Contactmusic.com reports him saying: “I’ve just lived a little bit too colourful a life. I think people would use that to their advantage, and we would quickly get off the issues that were important. And we would move to something that was just kind of sensational and fun that really doesn’t matter. And that wouldn’t be any fun for me.”
