London, Aug 23 (IANS) A toddler in Britain who was left with a bright red ‘clown nose’ just weeks after she was born has been operated upon to make her nose look “like her mum’s”, a media report said Tuesday.

She had to put up with cruel taunts for three years because of a condition that left her with a bright bright red clown nose, Daily Mail reported.

Her mother had to resort to hiding Connie Lloyd’s face when they went to the doctors because people made “horrible” comments.

Now Connie has a chance to live life anew after surgery to remove the blemish that marked the existence of a tumour, the newspaper said.

Following the three-and-a-half hour operation in March, a delighted Connie proclaimed that she now had a ‘nose like her mum’s’, the Mail said.

“When we saw her nose we were amazed. She looked like a different child but we knew it was our Connie,” her mother, from Slough, Berkshire, said.
