Today is the ‘most miserable day of the year’
November 1st, 2010 - 5:26 pm ICT by ANILondon, Nov 1 (ANI): A poll say as many as 66 per cent of Brits will be depressed today as it is officially the most miserable day of the year.
As temperatures plunge, clocks go back and with Government cuts set to bite, millions of Britons are slumping into a gloomy mood, reports the Daily Express.
According to the poll by the Canary Islands tourist board, 47 per cent say they hate this time of the year and 48 per cent say they feel more tired.
People in Glasgow were the most miserable followed by those in Newcastle, Sheffield, Cardiff and London, the poll reports.
The most resilient were in Southampton, Nottingham, Edinburgh, Liverpool and Leeds. (ANI)
