London, March 17 (IANS) Oscar-winner “Titanic” has been voted the greatest hit of all time in a poll of 6,000 movie fans. Thesun.co.uk reports that the movie, that grossed a record 500 million pounds, beat out the 2005 remake of “King Kong”. Directed by James Cameron, “Titanic” stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet.
“Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring” came in third followed by “Star Wars: Return of the Jedi”.
The top 10 list also includes “Jurassic Park”, “Independence Day”, “Transformers”, “Gladiator” and “Raiders of the Lost Ark”.
