Three US nationals gunned down in Mexico
December 25th, 2011 - 8:40 am ICT by IANSMexico City, Dec 25 (IANS) A 39-year-old American woman and her two daughters died when unidentified gunmen opened fire at three buses in Mexico, officials said.
The gang of five gunmen attacked the buses in Veracruz state, killing a total of seven passengers, Xinhua reported.
The woman and her daughters were returning after visiting relatives in La Huasteca region in northeastern Mexico, officials said.
The gunmen were later killed by soldiers.
