Three university students charged for voyeurism in UK court

London, Mar 9 (ANI): Three university students have been charged for voyeurism in a British court after filming a woman having sex.
George Iaponas, 24, had sex with the woman while his two friends Lemar Garcia, 20, and Shabar Hussain, 21, filmed them, then threatened to post the footage on Facebook if she complained, a court heard, reports the Daily Mail.
The alleged offence happened at the University of Westminster halls of residence in Hoxton Market, East London, on February 17 last year.
Laponas allegedly wooed his victim on Facebook and she agreed to come to his room for sex.
Unknown to the woman, Garcia and Hussain were hiding under the bed with a camera.
After the sex session with the student Iaponas asked if she had ever had a threesome before saying: “I’ve got a surprise for you” and summoned Garcia and Hussain from under the bed.
Garcia had used his digital camera to record Iaponas having sex with the woman, Snaresbrook Crown Court in East London was told.
The disgusted woman threatened to report the trio but was warned her life would be “made hell” and the footage would be posted on Facebook if she complained, the court heard.
But the woman did report the three friends and when Garcia was interviewed by police he admitted transferring the footage from his camera to his laptop, the court heard.
Garcia, of the Isle of Dogs, East London, Hussain, of Maida Vale, West London, and Iaponas, of Greenwich, South-East London, all deny voyeurism. (ANI)
