Three soldiers, four militants killed in Pakistan clash

Islamabad, June 19 (IANS) Three soldiers and four Taliban militants were killed Sunday in a clash at a check post in northwest Pakistan, Xinhua reported.
The fighting started when militants attacked a check post in Pakistan’s Mohmand Agency near the Afghan border. Thirteen security personnel were injured.
Officials said the Taliban militants from Afghanistan have recently launched several attacks on the border check posts.
They said about 40 security personnel and civilians were killed in at least four such attacks in Pakistan in less than a month.
